Rabeea Yeung's Interview

MHK2003 1st runner up and Tourism Ambassdor

Note:Sorry! This interview was delayed because of Rabeea's busy schedule

1) Why did you decide to join the Miss Hong
Kong pageant

I entered MHK because it has always been a
dream of mine. I admired all the MHK in the past
and I wanted to experience something different. It's
a once in a lifetime opportunity.

2)What was the first thing that popped in your
mind when you were announced 1st runner up

I was like "OH MY GOD" when they annouced my
name. I was really happy.

3)What is your most memerable experience in Ms.World?

Everyday with the girls was memorable. We
travelled to so many places in China all together.
We shared laughters, tears, and lots and lots of
good times during that month. We learned alot
from each other. For example, we learned to
communicate with each other despite our language
barriers. It was simply the best time I've ever spent
with over 100 beautiful and intelligent girls.

4)Who is your best friend in the pageant?

I've became very close to the girls during MHK. We
still hang out and contact each other all the time. I
am very close to Mandy, Doi Doi, Livia, Carrie and
Ivy.

5)Did you feel pressured during Miss Hong Kong?

I didn't feel any pressure during MHK. During
those three months of training, I got to learn alot
about myself. I became more confident with
everything I do. I've matured and I've learned how to
deal with everything more independently. It was
definately an excellent experience.
6)Who is your all time favorite Miss Hong Kong

That's a tough question. Now that I am in the
entertainment industry, I've actually met former
MHKs. They all inspire me in different ways. Its
hard to tell you who my favorite is.
