MHK 2006 TOP 25 FINALIST

1)Why did you decide to participate in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant?

I participated in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant for experience. I think this is
a good way to meet friends, gain a good experience, and show the world how
you look when you're most beautiful. I feel that I wouldnt look as good as
now and this was the time to do it. So I went for it. I also got to be in
the Miss NY Chinese Pageant which sort of prepared me for the ride in Miss
Hong Kong.

2)What was the most memorable thing that happened during the pageant?

The girls and I forged many friendships as you can see from the pictures
I've included. We laughed and cried together. Three months together made us
feel as if we had been best friends forever. I can say that participating in
Miss Hong Kong was not a mistake at all even though I didnt win. I did not
get this experience from being in the Miss NY Chinese Pageant as it was very
competitive and many girls did not like each other. Also memorable was that
time one of my friends in the pageant had an accident while dancing onstage.
The media was very cruel but because all of us were around to support her,
she didn't let the comments effect her too much. Basically all of us stood
around for each other in times of hardships.

3)Who were you friends with in the pageant?

I became very good friends with Janet. She is very sweet and very funny!
Actually I am friends with everybody in the pageant. All of them were very
nice and sweet.

4)Do you regret about anything that you didn't do during the pageant?

I dont regret anything. This is the path I chose and what is done is done. I
have tried my hardest and my best. I did not let myself down. I was the best
I could be. For that I am very proud of my accomplishments.

5)Who is your favorite Miss Hong Kong?

My favorite Miss Hong Kong is Michelle Reis. But now that is being replaced
by Aimee Chan! Love you Aimee!
