1)Why did you decide to participate in the Miss Chinese Toronto pageant?

I participated in the pageant to improve in my cantonese, and challenge myself in my confidence and steadiness. After these past 2 months, i wouldnt mind becoming a talk show host, lol. Seriously.
2)What was going through your head when you were announced Miss Friendship?
Before they even announced Miss Friendship, they played a clip of our past events and all that we went through throughout the past 2 months. I cried watching it (trying really hard to fight it back), so when they announced my name I wasn't really listening cause i was still sniffling. It hit me seconds later. I was so happy and yet sad, because we had to part after the next hour and happy that everyone saw me as great friend. Moses was a total sweetheart as he comforted me with a hug (totally dreamy guy, and very nice in person as well as good looking, lol). I remember he spoke to me in english, congradulating me, then asking me, "Are you crying?" I nodded and he opened his arms and offered a hug. It was just what I needed at the moment. A Big Warm Hug.

3)How did you find the sport segment this year?

The sport segment was in the cold, we were freezing in our outfits and we all got sick. Though we had lots of fun doing it, it was a lot of hard muscle work. (As you saw we all got blisters from it.) Number 10 hurt her arm doing the stunts days before when we were given the chance to, and she also isn't really an athletic person (because she has asthma), but we were all proud of her for completing the segment.

4)Is participating in a pageant something you always wanted to do?

As a kid, i always wanted to participate and played with my sisters pretending that we were in a pageant. When i actually joined and realized i made it, I already felt like a winner. I was always put down because some people believed that Vietnamese people shouldnt join, but people keep forgetting that I am chinese, it's just that my grandparents grew up in Vietnam. I had to prove and set an impression, that regardless of any put downs, anything is possible with HEART.
5)Who is your favorite Miss Chinese Toronto winner?
Elva, she is so beautiful in person and also beautiful without make up. She's also a great speaker, i thought she was cheated of her title this year in Miss Chinese International.
