Well, this year I thought the awards were evenly disturbted. Only 3 contestants did not recieve an award and it was hot favorite #1 Michelle Jiang, #8 Vancouver native Samantha Lam and #5 Jill Yeung, which I thought they all performed really well.

 

Thoughts on the winner #10 Susana Su: I thought Susana was the calmest one out of all 10 contestants. She had the best Q&A. I thought the crown was between #3 Natalie and Susana. Susana's calm carsima got her placed in the top 10 in MCI07.

 

Thoughts on 1st runner up #4 Teresa Chang: This took me by suprise as she was a black horse from the beginning and she didn't really stand out either but she had a good Q&A too. She has a really sweet smile.

 

Thoughts on 2nd runner up #6 Carrie Wang: I knew she would place, she really stood out the whole night, but I would really describe her as Miss Vivacious Beauty as she wasn't lively or bubbly the whole night. She deserved this place. When her name was announced for 2nd runner up she looked quite suprised..

 

Thoughts on Miss Photogenic: In my opinion I thought #10 stands out more on TV. A reminder to viewers that Miss Photogenic is chosen by an interview and it also depends on your confidence. This was mentioned last year and by several contestants.

 

Miss Vivacious Beauty: Ehh..I didn't really think #6 deserved this, I thought #7 Amy So or #3 Natalie Zhang deserved it more. They were the most vivacious ones the whole night but after I was notified it was for the taichi segment, #6 did stand out from the rest.

 

Miss Classic Elegance: For some reason I knew this award would go to a CBC (#7 and #8) since they have this classic Vancouverian look. Well deserved.

 

Miss Beautiful Life Ambassdor: I thought this would go to a Vancouverian born as well. #3 did deserve this award though, she looked like she was really enjoying the night.

 

Miss Energetic: This award was either between #7 or #3 who were really energetic the whole night, congats to #3.

 

Miss Popularity: I'd like to share that I voted for #7 like crazy during commercials, #2 was in the lead at first and #7 was third, then second then was bumped up to first :P I hope I win that LG chocolate :P Congrats to #7.

 

Miss Friendship: It;'s kinda funny.. I thought it would go to #7 and #8 as on tv the mentioned that either would get this award. But congrats to #2.

 

Best Complexion: No doubt about it #9 has good skin, she has really nice dimples.

 

Best Posture: I thought they all had good posture but #6 deserved this award..

 

 

Overall comments about the show: They had a very nice theme, I love the qipao.

 

QANDA: Standouts were #7, #8 and #10.  #7 had a really cute interview where she didn't know the festivals. #8's interview was hilarious as she said she would pull the chatty HK host ERIC TSANG up the pyramid up with her. I thought #10 had a really effective answer.
