Peggy Li Interview

1)Why did you decide to participate in the Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant?

I thought it was a great opportunity to have fun and to enjoy a whole
new level in life. I've always been a very shy person and more of a
listener than a talker so I thought joining might develop my social
skills a little more. Which it did and it was the best experience I've
had.

2) What was your reaction when you were announced a top 5 finalist?

It was definitely a shocking surprise when I saw the pageant symbol in
the envelope. During the whole show I did not care too much about
winning and just to have a fun time performing for my friends and
family after 2-3 months of hard work and rehersals. I was very happy
to be in the top 5, all the hard work was worth it to see the end
results.

3) You were selected Most Photogenic at my website by our viewers,
what is your reaction?

I'm very happy that viewers selected me as most photogenic, all 11
girls are all so beautiful and sweet I think they all deserve to be
number one. I never would've guessed to be voted most photogenic,
never knew i was photogenic until now...hehe..i guess! thanks!

4) What was your reaction when you were called and told you were a finalist?

I thought i saw and heard wrong at first. haha! I was not focused on
winning or had any expectations so it was more than wonderful to be
placed in top 5. I wanted to ask them to repeat or check if i was
'really' in top 5.

5) Who is your most favorite Miss Chinese Toronto winner?

Favourite winner? I dont have a favourite because during the whole
process of training and rehersals we've all deveoped such a great
friendship, it didnt matter to me who won at the end. Regardless if
you had an award in hand at the end, I believe we all saw each other
the same way. We still all call each other out to have a drink and
just to catch up on stuff.....girls stuff. =D
