2) You've been modeling all around Canada and Hong Kong, how did you make it
into
the modeling career?
I started working with a local modeling agency, Mode Models. They also have an international
division, and I wanted to try modeling elsewhere for the experience. I chose Hong Kong because I have some family members there,
and I thought it would be nice to work there and to hopefully see some relatives when I had time off.
3) How did you feel, when you realized you were a Hong Kong press favorite
in
Miss Chinese International 2007?
I was very flattered and grateful for their support. But I also felt
that it was a bit unfair to be called a favorite. I think all the girls are equally great in their own character.
4) How did you feel when you were announced a Semi-Finalist, then a Top 5
Finalist?
I was very happy and surprised at the same time. I was happy with my performance and comfortable on stage.
However, I wasn’t expecting to hear my name for the top 5 because I thought that all the delegates were really strong
and had all performed very well.
5) What would you do if you won the Miss Chinese International 2007 crown?
If
the right opportunity arose, and under the appropriate circumstances I would have considered to stay in Hong Kong to do some
work. However, my education is really important to me. My first priority would be to go home and finish my degree before pursuing
any other endeavors.
6) What was going through your head when you were announced the winner of
Miss
Chinese Calgary?
Very much like the night of MCI, the Miss Chinese Calgary show happened very quickly.
So when I heard my name, it didn’t register with me right away that I had won.
7) Who is your all time favorite Miss Chinese International winner?
My favorite winner of MCI is Miss Sydney from this year. Reason being is because I got
to know her personally, and become friends with her. She’s a really nice girl and I very happy for her and I wish her
all the best for the future!
