1) Why did you decide to participate in the Miss Chinatown Philippines pageant?
Actually, I joined the pageant just for the fun of it. :-) and being in the modeling industry for 6 long
years here made me want to try something different and new.
2) What was going through your head when you were announced the winner of the Miss Chinatown Philippines Pageant?
Seriously, my final walk! hahaha :-) I had this crazy thought of waving goodbye and saying my "speech" hahaha. I was
in real shock because I didnt expect to win at all.
3) Since normally the people that visit our website are from North America, would you mind telling us a little about
the pageant?
It was fun and crazy :-)
4)You recently flew to HK to participate in the Miss Chinese International 2007 pageant, what were the ups and downs?
Actually I really learned more about myself. Being a model in [Manila], things came very easily for me and
when I was in HongKong I found myself actually striving to achieve a goal. And it wasnt very easy because the activities
were something that you would never catch me doing in the Philippines not to mention my chinese isnt very good as well. Like
what I told my friends when I got back "Knowing me, I'm a person who complains about everything. But there, I wake up in time
to start the day, I put make up everyday just to look good, i did all the activities with extra effort, I had sleepless
nights, no clubbing all work, froze myself to death (hahaha. I live in a country where the sun shines), I saw myself
at my weakest and yet at the end it was the greatest experience of my life." :-)
5) Who were you closest with out of all the 21 girls in Miss Chinese International?
Yvonne (Ms. Calgary), Tina (Ms. Seattle), Cindy (Ms. Auckland), and Ms. Bangkok, and definitely Yingying :-)
6) Who is your all time favorite pageant winner?
Definitely Carlene Aguilar (Manila 2003 if i'm not mistaken). She's a friend and one of the Philippine's pride as she
bagged not only MCIP [2nd runner up] but participated in Ms. Earth and Ms. World :-)
