1) Why did you decide to particiapte in the Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant?
I have never thought of participating
in the Miss Chinese Toronto, but this
year I'm having co-op and I was thinking, maybe this is a perfect time for me
to
do something to improve myself,and to try something and learn something.
I talked to my sister and she was very supporting,and
she wanted me to be more
outgoing and confident in myself.After several coversations with my sister, and
several days
of thinking,I decided to give it a try.
2) Your maternal twin sister, Elva, won MCT05, did you feel pressured
to receive a placement
in MCT?
No, because me and Elva are very different both by looking and on personalities.
I
was so proud to have such a twin sister like her, and I didn't join this pageant
because I want to inmitate her or anything,I
joint for myself.
3) When you were notified as one of the 10 contestants of MCT, what was going through
your head?
I was like wow, the real challenge is coming.
4) What advice did Elva give you throughout
the competition?
She asked to believe in myself,and show myself.
5) What was going through your
head when you were announced Miss Charming Communi-
cator?
I was so happy that I have the most supporters and I
felt so warm.
6) It was mentioned a couple of times that Elva was your favorite MCT winner, would you
explain
why?
Since we grew up together and lived together for 20 years, I know her very well.
By looking, I think she is
the prettiest girl I have ever seen. By personality,
she is very confident in herself. I think she has all the qualities
to be a MCT.
7) Who would be your female role model, and why?
My female role model is Annie Yi. She
is a singer,a show host,an actress and a writer too.
As a woman,she knows how to take care of herself.Although she is getting
40,she only looks
like in 20s.She loves to read, and she loves to reflects on her live, appreciate people and lives.
